The Reaumond Foundation

Fiercely committed to impacting the lives of those faced with pancreatic cancer

The Reaumond Foundation was established on October 26, 2018, one year after Robert Reaumond’s passing from pancreatic cancer. Our mission is to fund groundbreaking research at leading cancer centers to combat pancreatic cancer, the third-leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S. Since our founding, we’ve raised over $2.5M to support this critical work.

In addition to research, we provide financial assistance and low-cost housing for patients undergoing treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center, the nation’s top-ranked cancer hospital. The emotional and financial burden of treatment can be overwhelming, and we aim to alleviate that stress for families. With a five-year survival rate of just 12%, pancreatic cancer remains one of the most aggressive and challenging cancers to fight.

With your help, Bob Reaumond’s vision to end pancreatic cancer is becoming a reality, and we’re closer than ever to making this possible in our lifetime.

  • Homes of Hope Network.

Homes of Hope aims to ease the financial burden of housing, provide better access to the nation’s top cancer hospitals, and provide a “home away from home” to families during their most difficult days.

  • Family First Fund.

The Family First Fund aims to remove some of the financial burden and stress that nearly always accompanies a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. This diagnosis is extremely disruptive to a family system, especially in terms of finances, employment, and security.

  • Research and Grants.

We strive to work towards better outcomes and treatment by directly funding cutting edge research at the nation’s top oncology hospitals. We support research to advance the development of early detection and treatment options available for those diagnosed with one of the most deadly cancers.

“We’re all aware that there can be many rainbows (human, spiritual and physical) that can lift some of the storms’ burdens from patients like me. Some of those rainbows come in the form of a human being; it can be a spiritual rainbow that holds you up daily or hourly. The Reaumond Foundation is one of those rainbows for my family.”
