Let’s Decorate!

24 hours in Houston, let’s see how much we can get done! We hit the ground running as soon as we touched down and our first stop was the xfinity store. We’ll be able to offer Wi-Fi for our patients so they can stay in touch with family and friends with ease. Next up was Target, to get some home essentials before we headed to the condo to wait for our biggest delivery—IKEA.

The IKEA delivery arrived right on time, and we began bringing everything into the condo. Our order had over 100 items and was over 900 lbs! The fun was just beginning—building of all of the furniture. 

Day two came and our talented Associate Board Member Logan Lukacs made his way to the unit to film and get some content for our platforms. Wait until you see the drone footage! Not only are we excited to show you all the space, we’re able to utilize some of the content to make the check in experience more visual and hopefully, even easier for those staying with us.

We have a few final touches we’ll be adding in the next few weeks, including a gallery wall and a special surprise-a thank you to our donors.
