ABOUT THE COURSE:
Cantigny offers 27 challenging holes on beautiful, rolling terrain covering nearly 300 acres. The Woodside, Lakeside and Hillside nines each have distinct identities, adding richness to the golf experience. Cantigny is the five-time host of the Illinois State Amateur Championship and frequent regional tournaments. When it opened, in 1989, it was named “Best New Public Course in America” by Golf Digest. Since then, it has earned a reputation as one of the finest public-access golf facilities in the Midwest. Cantigny Golf is owned by the Robert R. McCormick Foundation and managed by KemperSports. It is open to all but strives to deliver the amenities and playing conditions you might expect at a private golf facility. We aim to make your time here special, whether you’re playing a casual 9 or 18, practicing at the Academy, enjoying a meal, or hosting an all-day golf outing.
HOMES OF HOPE:
Often, the best chance of a successful outcome for a patient with pancreatic cancer is to travel to a hospital far from home. Travel costs add up quickly, especially when patients consider lodging, transportation, and food. Patients who need housing for extended cancer treatments may need to spend several hundred to several thousand dollars, depending on their length of stay.
Homes of Hope aims to ease the financial burden of housing, provide better access to the nation’s top cancer hospitals, and provide a “home away from home” to families during their most difficult days.
*The Reaumond Foundation and Cantigny Golf will abide by all state regulation and mandates as it relates to COVID-19. The event will follow protocol per city guidance and all event details as laid out are subject to change if required by the city. If cancellation or postponement is necessary, The Reaumond Foundation will work with all registered golfers to provide refunds if desired.
