Why I fight?

Bob Reaumond was a larger than life mentor to me from the time I was 9 years old. His joyous, humorous and peaceful demeanor in the face of adversity is something I can only hope to achieve some day. My wife, Kristen Young, was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in October of 2022. Neither of us knew how to handle the news but she looked at our two children and refused to feel sorry for herself. She picked herself off the mat, endured an 8 hour surgery along with countless rounds of chemo. Her attitude and mindset during that process was something you only see in the Rocky movies. She is the hero of our family and today she has a clean bill of health! We're forever grateful to all of those who supported us along that journey. I fight to get off the mat, just like Bob and Kristen.
