Why I fight?

As I get older, I realize that time with family and friends is more and more valuable. Cancer is a threat to anyone regardless of how hard you try and live a healthy life. Folks that are diagnosed don't have the choice to fight, they're force to. There's a sense of helplessness watching a friend or family member go thru the constant treatments, doctor's appointments, surgeries, recoveries, pain, depression, etc... knowing the world doesn't stop and they keep pushing forward. I'm still in decent enough shape at my age to be able to fight for them and in doing so, be able to raise money for such a great cause. It's an opportunity to honor my close friends and family who are fighting, as well as everyone else, by showing support. Some have called me crazy and nuts for throwing my hat in the ring on this event, but it will be worth it with the help of my network to raise as much money as we can for the Reaumond Foundation.
