Meet Lileesa, Our June Guest at Homes of Hope!

I grew up in a small town in the Texas Panhandle, married my high school sweetheart, and together we raised three wonderful children. Tragically, I lost my husband almost seven years ago to a massive heart attack. For many years, we raised black Angus cattle and farmed cotton before planting a small vineyard in 2010, partnering with our children and their families. After Dale passed, I continued caring for the cattle for four more years and worked in the vineyard until recently, when my health no longer allowed it.

I have always loved being outdoors, whether in the vineyard, gardens, or pastures where my cattle once roamed. Spending time with my family, especially my nine wonderful grandchildren, brings me great joy. -Lileesa
